Dash Electronics FLIPPING OUT on Our Jeep Gladiator

Well, another thing that it's definitely not is this - the star connector.

At this point and time, I've about run out of ideas. The head unit is about the only thing I haven't changed out and I'd hate to buy one of them only to find out that it wasn't it.

May have to break down and make an appointment with the dealership :(

That sucks. What a pain.

hmmm... last issue was pretty much solved after you saw some smushed wiring harness, I'd be looking for more of it where the wiring would/might be affected by the movement of the high-speed flex/rebounding?

Any signs of where you zip tied this together showing where it may have tried to pull apart or signs of the harness getting stretched or squished again?

Stuff like this turns my ocd into a dog with a bone lol

Spent more time today looking at everything and... things are still jacked. For the most part, things are kind of better but every now and then, the radio still cuts out, I can't get the heated seats or steering wheel to stay on and the center stack buttons work but are really delayed. Tail light still works but that's about the only thing that does.

My biggest problem about going to the dealership is that I have to remove Tazer to do it. Of course, that will leave me with the wrong tire size and gear ratio and my dash will be lit up like a Christmas tree. I can't imagine how that will help them to figure out all the other problems.

Maybe pay them to program the tire size and gear ratio (blessed permanently by MOPAR)?

Have you thought about taking the bed off to inspect everything closer?

Last time I took the JLU to the dealer to have some reprogramming done on a soft recall (TSB) I think it was the steering or cooling fan too loud; also noticed they reprogrammed something on the radio.

I unmarried and removed the Tazer but if I recall, it left the gear and tire size settings alone, not to factory setting.

Also, this from Tazer User Guide:

"Your Tazer stores the configuration present when it’s Married. That will be what it returns to when you Unmarry, even if it wasn’t stock"

That’s a good idea, I would bet it’s quick especially with a lift
Honestly, I really don't think that's where the problem is for me or at least, not anymore. Tail light works just fine and I can't really see how anything back there would be affecting my Infotainment System and center stack. That said, I suppose it would be something to check but at this point and time, I think I'll try the dealership first.

Unmarrying definitely brings things like gear ratio and tire size back to stock. Of course, it also causes the service axle, sway bar disconnect and a whole host of other lights to come on as well being that I'm missing a lot of stuff. I may try using Jscan to correct what I can.
