Hinrichs 2.0

Been annoyed with the spod location, and wanted to move the cb further from my head on the cage so finally moved it for good. Problem being is where do I put the spod till I decide on a new switch system. Blocks some of the tray, but is easy to lift up.

Looks like I will soon be taking the jeep to the dealer to hopefully fix my evap leak I have been dealing with for a long time. Going to check everything over tonight when I get home, but I just reset the CEL the other day, and it came back this morning. The worst part is that when it sets the CEL off....it cancels the remote start

This is the camera I ordered, it works well for what it is. I should have mounted it up higher however since I cant really use the distance lines on the head unit from it being mounted so low and not on an angle, but I didnt want to run another wire along the carrier.

I am mixed on the alpine, If I didnt get it for a steal (display from best buy for $200) I would have never purchased it. It lacks some control I think it should have and is annoying with all the "saftey lock outs" it has. I just feel it needs an update or something to be better. I just dont like having my phone plugged in all the time for it to work other than basic radio.

Gas cap ordered, ill be crossing my fingers that is the issue after reading up what most have said online. Yes my clips are all good on the lines for the evap box as well, they are all new.

Yeah I didnt have enough room with the CB and sPod together. Well It could be used, but was really annoying, also putting the hard top back on made getting to the center latch almost impossible for me.

Interesting fact, I was having issues with the CB for a while now, after moving the spod down....I havent had the radio issue shutting off when using it like on the last trip, or having intermittent noises/crackling coming from the cb anymore.

I plan on getting a new switch system since I would like to have 8 circuits to use, but cant make up my mind on purchasing the Switch Pro system even thought I really like the switch panel, I just don't like the mess of wires under hood that comes with their system. I also dont want to continue to support sPod....but I really like their under hood portion of the unit

I moved my CB further back and had it facing forward so I could see the controls in my rear view mirror

Hmm I should have thought about that lol. I was always worried on the trail with it a little further back with hitting my head on it tho....which has happened a few times before since I tend to jump into my jeep.

I'm only 5'10 but only hit my head getting in, not on the trail since I have a 5 point harness...however, I eventually replaced my CB with a Cobra 75...the PS trailcage I have let me hide the head unit inside the rectangular center beam...I think you have the Rock Hard cage with twin center bars...not sure if there is enough clearance overhead, but you could put it inside the center console or below the seat...I very much like having the switches above the mirror

I used to run a 75 when I had my 2 door and just wasnt happy with it most of the time so I gave it to a friend. I did like how small and compact it was, but I had problems hearing it most of the time and didn't want to have to add in an external speaker.

Roger that...my biggest complaint with the 75 was accidentally switching channels when grabbing it...after being on the trail for awhile with no radio chatter, I'd check it and find I was off channel.

The CB I took out of the Brute is now in the Hellcat...

Super exciting day today

New wipers, always liked the icons and couldn't find a book for any other brands at the store
