Hinrichs 2.0

With only 7700 miles, I shouldn't be having any leaks. I understand things were changed, but still.

I hope it's warrantied, but if not, and it is a crack, you can always clean it with Brakeclean and FlexSeal it. I did that about a year ago on a small crack on my tcase. But I really do hope your dealer takes care of it for you.

Only worked on the diffs tonight since my covers showed up. Really wanted dynatrac or arb covers, but hard to beat the price of the ps covers. Never had issues with them last time and went with the lube locker deal this time around which I really enjoyed installing. Just remembered I need to rotate the steering stabilizer bracket tomorrow morning since I don't feel like going back out tonight.

Weird noise seemed to be quieter this morning, prolly helps with all the new fluids front and rear since the front seemed a little low and I think water got in the rear. Hopefully will be swapping the climate control parts tonight if they show up, tracking info is vauge so who knows with USPS.

In other news, working on a frankenlift so I can get my kings rebuilt since I am around 25k on them and its long over due. Was talking to cozdude about this, called Penske Racing who doesnt rebuild them, and gave me a number of a local guy who has been rebuilding raptor shocks and also works on some trophy trucks who is very close to me. Going to check out his shop once I get the kings off the jeep which should be rather soon. Just need to decide if I want to take my time over winter and have the jeep sitting on stands which I cant really do in my garage, so I would need to borrow gregs coils and order a set of shocks so I can still drive the jeep. Guy told me 1-2 weeks for the shock rebuild which really isnt bad considering I can save a decent ammount on shipping rather then sending them to cali and back.

Are they a lot thicker than the OEM covers? The price is really attractive.

Nice! congrats, hope to order mine in the next couple weeks too

Hopefully its easy to install, I feel some of my wiring is going to be a pain for being already ran for the sPod but oh well. At least I have a weekend free to mess with all of it and get it swapped out and over.

Congrats, you will love it. The install is really straight forward

I guess at least everything is already under the hood, so just moving and maybe extending wires, rather than pulling from other switches in your interior. I didn't bother to install my sPod in my new rig knowing I wasn't going to continue to use it, plus I knew I couldn't get out and wheel all fall anyway. Most of my wires are just ran and tied off near the battery just waiting to be connected, need to get the ARB harness too.

I will be robbing the arb harness from the spod, which I can really shorten which will be nice since I already have all the wires for that ran into the engine bay, just right now it goes over to the driver side. The most annoying one I think will be my rock lights, but I wanted to clean up that wiring anyway since its such a mess. Part of me wants to move my twin under the hood since I will have more room now, but I still like just having it under the passenger seat.

Last night I got the new auto climate control thing installed, not sure if its working properly or not....guess only time will tell on that. Once plugged in it flashes like others have said, and then it begins to work. I need to dig around to see if I have the extra 2 sensors needed to actually make it function properly, but it was on this morning with the remote start so I guess its doing something.

Also messed around with the evap canister hoses last night finally. Broke both clips....very glad I had one of the extra large 5/8" clips which I will be getting another set just incase I need to take it off again, and also broke the smaller line clip in the process as well. I did however use some o-ring grease I have for my kegs and lubed up the connections to hopefully seal up my small leak. Also used some on the gas cap as well which I think is my problem since the filler neck kinda fits like ass with the evo corners.

I was surprised when I got home with the size of the switch pro box it comes in, it's so small.

Also I knew the switch panel was small as well, but this will be so easy to make look semi factory I think.

Need to work on the under hood wiring, cuz well it's a mess, but got everything installed for the most part.

Forgot to take pics since it's 34 and windy today here.

Where I'm going to keep the panel for now till I figure out how I like the location.

Install is easy, I pulled the battery at first which wasn't needed but i had to pull all kind of wires all over the place. I used the gromet on the drivers side behind above the pedals as well which was easy to run the wiring through. I have a lot of slack left so I may end up moving the switches but not sure yet.

i have this and need to install. did you wire straight to your battery or did you splice into the jeep wiring so the switches are only hot when the jeep is in the 'on' position?

I used the tap a fuse thing and ran a wire out of the fuse box which I still need to seal up with some RTV, which connects to fuse M7. Currently the panel only is on when the jeep is on and also stays powered with the accessory power for 45 seconds like I have my jeep setup for which is kind of nice.

I plan to take some better pics tonight of where I ran the wire through the firewall. I do need to clean up the wiring tho and make a harness for my rear lights and figure out what I would want for the last switch.

I was looking into the dual battery setups, but not sure if they work with the firewall panel that the switch-pro uses. May get a hold of genisis and see what they say. I dont need a dual setup yet, but would like to have one sometime in the future.

Mine comes on with the "acc" position at the same time as the rest of the jeep lights and it works great. Also ties in to the marker light wire, so when you turn on the headlights, the switch panel will dim.

That's how mine is setup, it's awesome

Really bad pics, showing my rats nest and also tried to get a picture of the gromet I used by the brake res, but it's kinda blocked by wires as well. I left all of the leads long on my install which is why it's a mess.

On another note, I sent my Audi off to the shop today to get fixed so I have something to drive while I rebuild the coilovers
