Hinrichs 2.0

It might take a few start up cycles for it to clear the cel. Just give it a few days

I clear it with the procal when it shows up. Held off last night, and again this morning so maybe I got lucky. If not, once I get the audi fixed ill take it to the dealer and have them tell me its not under warranty cuz I got a new skid plate for the evap lol

Edit:

Slow day at work so I have been reading up a lot on this one all over the jeep interwebz

Some of the issues, and this could be mine from how smart I was when installing my coilovers and cutting into the battery...could be one of the vac lines up there having a small hole or a loose connection, so that will be my next place to look. Also going to use some of the o-ring grease I have for my kegs and pull the hoses on the evap, lube them, and then reinstall to make sure they are not leaking (another thing people suggested).

Haven't had much time to mess with the evap issues, maybe tomorrow finally.

Driving tonight, sounded weird and a little loud on acceleration....got under the jeep while at a friends house, noticed a wet rear diff on the bottom. Didn't have anything to check the fluid level, but had some with me luckily.....yeah took a whole bottle just about. Learned a lesson where I will always carry extra fluids with me. Not sure if its leaking or what. I will be pulling the rear cover tomorrow to check the rear end out.

Well pulled the skid, drained and refilled the fluid

It's hard to tell but are you saying that it's still leaking? If so and if it's not coming from the flange seal, you might have a cracked housing. Had this problem years ago, back before anyone was seeing it happen and it took me a while to find.

Well I drained the fluid to be safe...probably pointless with low miles but oh well. I wish I would have drained it into a cup or something to see how much I lost or started with. I dont know if its still leaking however, or really where it is coming from. I would think its coming from the flange seal however since there is fluid up on the heat shields near the driveshaft. Is that something easy to fix myself?

If it is the seal, replacing it isn't too bad. Would be a hell of a lot easier if you could remove the t-case and do it on a bench but it can be done on the Jeep. But, before you do anything, I would thoroughly clean the t-case and drive your Jeep a bit to help identify EXACTLY where the leak is coming from. When my housing cracked, it was really close to the front output shaft and I had assumed that's where the leak was coming from too. Just trying to save you some money and extra work on things that may not need addressing.

I will try that tonight and get it as clean as I can and see if I can spot where its coming from. Thanks Eddie.

Regardless if its a cracked case or seal, you should be under warranty for that part...

Once I can get it clean, that will be the next step to taking it to the dealer and seeing what they will do for me.

I did order tires for the audi finally, which means once its fixed I can start to rebuild the coilovers and fix the cage and other things on the jeep. Just hope it doesn't take too long for them to get the head gasket fixed and inspected and everything.

Ordered the auto climate control setup last night, after reading up on various forums and such, seems like it should work well for me, but not sure. I have heater mirrors and power everything else which people say are needed, so I'm going to cross my fingers. Just tired of the manual control my jeep came with when it had almost every other option.

I feel ya on the leaks , I've been slowly patching everything up on my jeep.
My trans leaking, front main seal is leaking, and I think my t-case is leaking too [emoji30]

With only 7700 miles, I shouldn't be having any leaks. I understand things were changed, but still.

Agreed. At 7700 miles you shouldn't be having any major leaks yet . Makes me wonder if something happened offroading? Stress on the t-case or something ? You would think a brand new stock rubicon would be g2g for good while.
