They shouldn't interfere from my initial half assed test fit where I kind of held them in place. I am planning to install over the carpet I think as well. I will try and post a lot of pics.

I've wondered how strong that part of the roll cage is but am too lazy to put in mine

Well since I couldn't go on the trip this weekend, figure I'd work on the rear c-Pillar install. Not hard at all, I would suggest pulling the top tho since it's hard to unzip the padding to get to the bar with it on.

Without messing with the rear deck, and paint.....I would say maybe an 1-2 hours. It is really easy to fit these and get them bolted in. I need to fix the threads on one hole in a clamp (finally bought a good tap and die set) and it will be 100% finished.
