There is a secret offset you can set on the fridge to adjust its temp reading. The manual does not mention it, I found it somewhere in another thread. I think you can offset the display 10 degrees each way from the actual temperature. I think I offset mine about 8 degrees cooler. The actual temp inside was warmer than the fridge thought it was. To get to that menu you hold one or two of the buttons down for ten seconds. I can't remember right now. I set mine to 30*F and it does pretty good without freezing things up solid. Maybe on a cold night that might be a bit much.

When I remember, I am going to see what the temp inside reads and calibrate it. It seemed to do great over the weekend when I had it installed in the jeep. I did have one issue but that was my own fault with the wiring coming loose on the arb plug extension since I kinda soldered and crimped the 90* ends on really badly so one keeps coming loose. I will get new ends this week since I pulled the fridge and put it in the house since I took the bike to work today. I need to make a better spot for the wiring anyway since its just laying behind the passenger seat currently and looks like crap (even though you dont see it)

Good thing you got that fridge! Me and nick can keep the vagina tacos cool now!

So my remote monitor showed up last night for the fridge, need to send an email to see when my straps are coming tho which I feel should have shipped by now.

For anyone running the monitor, where have you mounted it?

pick up a fridge thermometer, i found mine at a grocery store. place it on the round spot under the front wire basket, that's where ARB instructed me to place it for an accurate reading

the ARB display reading and actual temp tend to differ.

here are the instructions on how to adjust:

Still think I need to calibrate the fridge, but it did a good job over the weekend keeping my drinks and food cold while I was watching our local hill climb.

Finally found a home for the monitor which I am happy with. Have the fridge set to 31 or 29 I think. If I stop being lazy, and decide to pull apart the dash a little I may cut off the end of the cig adapter for the remote monitor and hardwire it so I dont have to have it plugged in all the time.
