Hinrichs 2.0

I ordered the new LED things, /QUOTE]

Both of my turn signals are flashing fast so I need to do both of mine too. Wonder if thi sis common with these tail lights?

I put jb quick on my resistors and stuck them to the inside of the body right above the tail lights. They're holding pretty well.

That's a good idea. I used about 20 zip ties trying to suspend mine away from everything so they didn't melt any wires. Might try to rig up a small bracket & use the JB on it....

If you have the resistors, deff check them out to see if they are still on. When it happened before with me, just one end came off and it was just hanging there. I get a warning light before I even notice they are blinking fast. Part of me would rather almost just go to non 4" led lights, but I love how bright they are.

Thanks - I'll check them out tonight. Amazing how hot those things get.

Finally got my LED resistor things in the mail today, damn shipping from the west coast takes forever anymore. I will be working on that shortly, along with starting to run my ARB wiring for the fridge I will be ordering Wednesday :thumb:

Hey Hinrichs, question. Where did you end of ordering the new resistors from? Mine are bad so I'm thinking I'm going to order new ones! Did you get all new wiring or just the resistors?

Thanks!

You can also order a kit off of amazon prime for less than $5. That's what I did when I installed mine.

Dammit...knew I should have looked on amazon. Oh well.

So for mounting, I ended up using 2 smaller zip ties in the one hole and ended up hanging it inside the body which will hopefully work till I figure out something better. I should have taken pics but I always forget.

I also ran the wiring for the fridge last night as well. Spent half an hour trying to get the wire pulled next to the dash in the little hole with foam....only to realize I couldnt easily run the wire down behind the dash due to the cage. After that I just ran it through the firewall plug I used for my sPod which took 1 minute and then hid it under the door sill plastics. I need to figure out where to actually put the plug end still but I have time for that.

I lie I took one pic lol.

Fridge ordered....went with the place we do not speak of..... but ended up getting a free remote monitor, and also the transit bag for the price of the 50qt which was the best deal I could find online. Now to figure out where I want to mount that socket thats clean.

I thought about a surface mount on the rear panel of the security deck but it would get destroyed from behind...so there goes that plan.

front passenger seat for easy access ;)

I chose the spot right next to the base of the C-pillar for my surface mount 12 volt outlet. View attachment 216790 so far, so good! [emoji106]

Hmm I may use your idea on the other side. I will be messing around with it tonight and try to make a real decision since even though I dont see the plug, its laying in my back seat which annoys me.

Looks like it will be delivered friday which will be perfect giving me the weekend to test it out and what not.
