Hinrichs 2.0

:cheesy: I'm sorry but that made me laugh pretty hard...

I actually had one before when I was a super driveway warrior and had to get cars finished for shows, I never stopped working unless there was lightning.

Drywall mud spreader on a long stick or something similar. Scrape away, may not be perfect but will keep you from having to get under there.

Its not caked on anymore, its more that annoying layer of brow that just doesnt wash off easily.

Thought about taking it to a commercial truck wash? They do a good job on the big boys and those coal buckets get grubbier than hell.

Not a bad idea, I will have to see if I have any local to me. I do have a pressure washer avail at work I think, just need to make a weekend day out of washing the jeep. Can always try and lift up one side with a fork lift to help get under better.

Gonna be hot this weekend

This is probably a dumb question, but.......anyone have some advice for getting off what seems like a thin layer of mud remains from the under side of the jeep? I dont have a pressure washer anymore. I was thinking getting a rain suit and just laying under there for a while and hand washing...but that seems kind of dumb to me. Really wish driving around in the rain would do something.

Try spraying the crap out of everything with tire foam a time or two. It makes everything look brand new under there. My 09 is cleaner than the new ones on the lot

Nothing exciting for the jeep recently, other than I finally got it inspected after dealing with being an idiot and clearing a cel that came on before I went for emissions. Nothing like driving over 1k and then have a light come in before the testing

Other than that, all I've really been doing is modifying the bike and riding while the weather is nice.

So Thursday or Friday going to grab some lunch, my turn signal warning came on once again. Kinda used to it since it's happened 3 times where one end of the LED resistor melts the wire off, and it's hanging inside the body waiting to be fixed letting the light blink fast. No big deal it can wait. Finally found some time over the weekend to look at it, and to my surprise the damn thing is gone....

I searched around the body, under the foam and all with nothing to be found. Oh well, order 2 more just to have them since the driver side has happened and I will probably replace that as well and figure out a way to make these last a little longer due to the heat and maybe make a plate for them to mount to.

Did do some adventuring tho since I couldn't fix anything. Found a local state park I had no idea even existed. No trails for jeeps or anything and I was on the bike anyway, but looks like I can explore more on foot which I will have to do soon.

Awlright...that's a killer bike...the b&w photo does it justice...

I ordered the new LED things, sadly wont have them till monday....not like I need them for the weekend but would have been nice to have 2 days to make a nice wiring harness and figure out a good way to mount them so this hopefully does not happen anymore. I did order 2 parts for my next project in this order as well, arb wiring for the fridge, and also the tie down straps that they sell. I will be starting to figure out a wooden platform or something like I have saw on here since it will be going ontop of the rear driver side seat folded down. I thought about even removing that seat and just building a base for the fridge, but not sure how that will work yet till I actually dig into the jeep a little more.

I am also, once again thinking about putting the Trektop up for trade and going to a Premium Factory top. I still like my hardtop, other than its such a royal pain to get the freedom panels off due to my sPod and cage (I know I can fix this by ditching the sPod but I am too lazy to sell it)

I put jb quick on my resistors and stuck them to the inside of the body right above the tail lights. They're holding pretty well.
