Today I cleared that extra room and got the driverside all tacked up. It looks like I got it all in there about as tight as possible. I wouldnt be surprised if aired down if the tire doesnt get into it right there when its in the perfect spot.
One thing I learned from yesterday was that its much easier to cut the tube out from the inside of the Jeep. So we took some measurements and marked the other side and started to go at it.

There is where I ended today. Looks like bout the same as last night. I got a little bit more for the tower to go up and it should be pretty damn close to the other side. Once this side is tacked in ill be able to make a permanent track bar mount or possibly another temporary so I can cycle going both ways to make sure that is where I want the towers.

I also forgot to mention yesterday that I picked up the 2" .250 wall DOM for the front LCA. Im most likely gonna make a tierod out of it and possibly a rear track bar. The place I got it they had the 10ft 7" piece so thats what I took. I believe im only going to need around 6.5ft or so for the LCAs.

It defiantly feels great. Mike asked last night how it felt to get more done in two days then the rest of the build lol. I do think at this point in the rear assuming I dont have to move these towers again I have the rear pretty much done other then some painting and gears and lockers.

Today I got the other side strut all tacked into place. Tomorrow I plan to come up with a track bar so I can test it side to side. Im thinking I can either take the stock mount and just push it back a inch or two or if I have to go custom Im possibly going to mount it up on the inside of the frame. The last few pictures are what I believe im going to have ride height near.

Im beyond excited cant wait to wheel this thing again and WIDE still might not fully explain it lol. That droop has me more excited then anything.

Haha oh I bet man! I can't wait to see this bad boy in action! It makes me want to get my axle swap under way asap when I see your thread lol. That is a lot of droop, its gonna be an animal when its all done

lol they still are somewhat rare since the trucks they are coming out of at the latest are just over 10 years only.

Have you looked at car-part? Guessing yes, maybe it's regional. Both the front and rears out of 05+ SD here go for 400 or less for low mileage ones (<10k)
