yeah, I'm still mostly stock other than gear/tireUnmarrying definitely brings things like gear ratio and tire size back to stock. Of course, it also causes the service axle, sway bar disconnect and a whole host of other lights to come on as well being that I'm missing a lot of stuff. I may try using Jscan to correct what I can.
I agree that your problem isn’t within the section of wire under the bed. If you had a can bus issue back there you would be getting more blind spot messages and the dash wouldn’t be freaking out like it is. Your issue probably is within the radio/HIM module (not the head unit itself) or the wiring in between due to it losing power and freaking out the center stack.Honestly, I really don't think that's where the problem is for me or at least, not anymore. Tail light works just fine and I can't really see how anything back there would be affecting my Infotainment System and center stack. That said, I suppose it would be something to check but at this point and time, I think I'll try the dealership first.

The dealer should have a tester provided by mopar to check the connections when you take it in. I would remove the tazer and just make sure you show the advisor and the tech the video so they know where to be looking. The service axle and sway bar messages shouldn’t interfere with diag since they are on the chassis side of things where this is all body module related
Did “we?” No.Did you ever figure out what the issue was?
The passenger side tail turn signal? YES. Everything else, NO. Things were actually great up until I took this Jeep out on the New Year Kick Off Run and then, all went back to shit or at least, on the center stack/infotainment system.Did you ever figure out what the issue was?
Just thought I'd post an update on where we're at with things for anyone who's interested.
Since my last post back in January, we finally broke down and took this Gladiator to our local Carson City Jeep dealership and to see if they could help. Fortunately, I know the service manager and he's totally cool with working on something as highly modified as it. And, right off the bat, they did see there was a software update that hadn't been done but didn't think it was the cause of our problems or that it would fix them. But, they decided to do it anyway and with the hopes it would fix things and even did it free of charge.

As I left the dealership, all was good again and everything seemed to be working great! However, about half way home on what is normally a 5 minute drive, things started to go haywire again and so, I turned around and went back to the dealership.
This time around, they asked if they could hold on to our Gladiator for a few days so that they could do a deeper dive into things and during that time, I did get a couple of phone calls to ask about things they were seeing and mods we had and hadn't done. When nothing obvious was found, they opened up a case with Jeep and apparently, this process was going to take longer being that it's essentially a text message Q&A kind of thing and they only respond when they get around to it. And, long story short, after a couple of weeks, I got a call from the service manager saying, our Gladiator is too modified and that Jeep doesn't want to work on it. When I asked what my options were, I was told that they could start tearing apart the harness and I could easily be in it for $5k or more and they may still not find the problem. Essentially, I was shit out of luck. That was back in February.
After bringing our Gladiator home, I decided to just shelve him and start working on our new Gladiator. With it out and Moby out, I needed to make sure we had a solid Plan C for runs we had plans for in the near future. With that said, I decided to give it another hard look yesterday and wouldn't you know, I found that things had actually gotten worse.
While the passenger side rear turn signal was still fixed, we still had the dash flipping out and according to our dealership, this was being caused by some kind of a voltage drop somewhere. But, in addition to it, we now had an ABS error pop up on the EVIC. Also, on an unrelated note or at least, in regards to all the electrical gremlins, we still were having a problem with our brakes feeling too soft - something we really had a problem with during the New Year Kick Off Run.
Fortunately, bleeding the brakes helped out a lot as there was a LOT of air in the system and I'm still not sure how it got there to begin with especially being that there are no signs of leaks anywhere. I'm definitely going to have to give this harder look but for now, brakes feel good.
As far as the ABS system goes, we did have issues with passenger side rear wire tearing out in the past (after getting our trailing arms installed) and knowing this, I completely unwrapped it and physically inspected the repair. And, for better or for worse, all was good. That said, our Gladiator was used at a show late last year and when someone noticed we had an axle seal leak, the person borrowing our Gladiator offered to have it replaced. Knowing there was work done here, I pulled the speed sensor, cleaned it up thoroughly, reinstalled it and... that problem was fixed!
With all that said, I finally got around to our main problem - the electrical problems we've been having. And, being that I've exhausted just about every problem I could think of in the cab and under the hood and even every suggestion that was given to me by internet experts, I went back to where I had the most success - the passenger side rear corner. If nothing else, this is where I was able to fix the turn signal error and that's where I would focus my attention.
That said... I'm afraid to even suggest it... but I think I'm starting to make some progress![]()
Not gonna lie, if there's a case to be made about NOT modifying a Jeep or at least, as much as ours, it would be this shit.Fucken brutal.

Did you ever take a hit to that corner or have to replace that taillight?Just thought I'd post an update on where we're at with things for anyone who's interested.

I don't know for sure but I don't think so. The sensor didn't look like it was cleaned or very well when the seal was replaced. Needless to say, it was pretty dirty and had ferrous crud on it. I feel like cleaning it is what made the ABS error to go away.Thinking out loud, would the tone ring cause voltage drops that would affect not only the ABS but also cause other components to get screwy because of the ABS?
That corner had seen a little damage but not to the tail light. As mentioned before, I had swapped the light with one from my new Gladiator and it didn't make a difference.Did you ever take a hit to that corner or have to replace that taillight?
is that a tpms inside the wheel sensor issue or the TPMS module sensor issue.OH!! There is one other problem I forgot to mention - the passenger side rear TPMS is no longer registering or sending a signal. Although, I will have to say that we've always had issues with this corner and since day one so it could just be a coincidence. Certainly, doing a search online reveals that a lot of people have this problem.
