WJCO's Build Thread, 1999 WJ

All the colorful sema builds got me in the color mode. Painted my dl and tie rod for the axle swap.

Got this rig out today for some more exploring. Found a cool camp spot that might be fun in the summer for the kids to look for critters.

Airing down near a nice lake.

Parking at spot is easy with a fire ring already there.

Cool pond in the back of the spot already iced over.

With a family of 5, we have always had a problem with not having enough space for water bottles when we go out on the trail. I was reminded of this again this morning. An idea popped in my head that would solve it without modifying the console or existing cup holders. A trip to the bike section at Walmart proved true.

Fits all sizes and is a near perfect color match to the Jeep. I used the same color that I did for the steering linkage.

Before mounting these, I pulled the trim off and opened the metal retainers a little more. I figured with the weight of the water and bouncing around offroad, the trim will stay attached better. They really feel like they'll do the job, we'll hopefully do a trial run soon. Now I need to build something similar for my gun.
