TIN CAMP - This is the Last One...

So, on our last visit to Tin Camp, I downloaded our game camera chip and just now started going through it. And, much to my surprise, there were a lot of clips that I apparently missed including these that show a fawn following its mom into the pasture.


Here's another clip of the fawn and its mom back in the pasture about 2 weeks later.

It’s so cool the camera position. It’s like they know to walk left to right and in the center of the shot. 👍

Just before SEMA, Cindy and I got a chance to spend a few days out at the new camp and I have to say, it was surprisingly nice not having any internet or cell service. Here are a few pics from our stay.

Being that the A-Frame cabin is the the most modern and well kept, we decided to make it home.

While the cabins are wired up for electricity, there something going on at the fuse box or breaker box and we weren't able to quite figure out on this trip and so, we didn't have any or at least, not in this cabin. However, the place is plumbed with propane lights and that's what you're seeing it lighted up with here.

Of course, the stove runs off of propane as well and so that's what we used to cook over very first meal.

Unfortunately, winter was coming and so the main purpose for this trip was to spend a little time here before we couldn't and more importantly, to winterize it. Of course, that was a real bummer being that the weather was still so nice but with all that we had going on with SEMA, Thanksgiving and Christmas, this was the only real chance we had to do it.

Because of its remoteness, the original owner (the dad) had to be resourceful and built a lot of the original stuff out of recycled materials, including what he called, the Fire Hall. Not sure what this old iron riveted thing was but it is now the generator shed and main breaker.

This is one of the numerous sheds on the property. Unfortunately, the tractor will not be staying.
