Wow I just read the whole thread! Nice Build. I am new to the Forum and and new to Jeeps. It is really great to have all this really useful info. I wish I had done a little more research before loading up my jeep with Smittybilt..but it works. I really like all the EVO stuff! Eventually my Jeep will make the transition to the finer side!

Did you ever get around to putting the red LED lamps in for the EVO third brake light? That ROCKS!

Thanks. No not yet. :grayno: I have been really busy at work. I'm pulling the cage to have painted this weekend. I also have been looking for some led lights to use.

Finishing the cage. I drove it around for a few months trying to decide to do this or not. But said what the hell. The cage moves alote with out the support so does the windshield. now just have to have it wielded on.

Center ring broke on shift boot. Bought some counter sunk Allen bolts. Drilled out the holes. Then counter sunk with a step bit. And finished product.

Sweet! Drive safe. Don't forget that dirt road that parallels the freeway on the way home, if needed.

Love to hear what you think of them. I was running the 35" Falkens and traded to KM2's for comparison. I caught grief for running a "street tire" but never really saw anyone else doing much better on MT's. I did gain MPH though but I think loss of mph is a fair trade for sidewall strength. I've seen three guys cut a sidewall this summer and every time it was a KM2.

The one time I felt I was at a disadvantage on Falkens was in John Bull. It was raining and they packed up with wet sand. I didn't feel the other rigs really had a big advantage though as the other 35's were having issues as well.

Skirmish. I don't think that their will be a monster difference. I researched the tires and not one bad thang to say about them. The km2's have really weak side walls. But that helps with them flexing and getting into the cracks to grab. but I'll let you know what I think of them. I already like the much quieter ride, I forgot how quite a jeep can be. :)
