Hooked
Oh boy. Just when you thought you were about done. Sorry to hear.
It’s never done...
It’s odd, they clear at a static or slow flex, but rub when moving down the trail.

Well, both rear UCAs are seized. I need to push the rear axle back about 1/2” to clear the sliders.

I didn’t break the torch out, but pb blaster and the 24” crescent didn’t budge them.

That’s unfortunate... I like those jack stands! They are huge!
That doesn’t make sense. Air pressure have anything to do with? Tire deformation?
I was running 15 psi on the trail when they were rubbing and road pressure when I was testing it and it cleared. They started rubbing when I was going 10-15 mph down the trail with some decent bumps.
Regardless, I have a ton of room behind the tires to clear in the wells and my UCAs are 100% in so if I can break them loose, I’ve got room there to push the axle back.

Yeah, the videos I’ve seen where they do that is pretty cool. The set the diff in paint to make a perfectly straight line to cut in. I’m not sure if that’s how fusion does it, but it was a pretty cool process

I’d doubt they’re doing it the manual way. I’ve done it and it’s a total pain in the ass. I’m sure they throw it on a mill and fly cut it so it’s perfectly flat and takes a fraction of the time. Just a hunch though. Your Jeep is looking awesome by the way though. :thumb:

Seems like a lot of unnecessary material here. Can it be trimmed? View attachment 346743

With static flex, your bumpstops will never compress all the way like they will on a big hit at speed.
To truly know your clearance, you would have to take the rubber bumps out and go metal to metal. That's what they do when you hit something hard.
Bison does look pretty bad ass. Great stance!! Hope you get this issue worked out soon.

I'm sure you'll have it all fixed in no time. It's one if the things I enjoy about this forum. Seams like most guys are on it. No one gives up and parks the jeep beside the barn.I’ll try again this evening now that everything has soaked for a bit. We’ll see

Go drive around with the pinch bolts loose a little bit and see if they free up.

That’s a good idea. I’ll give it a shot.

I bet a good burn out with some tire hop would do the trick. Oh and video it
