Nice find on the hood! I wanted to goto that Q-tech event but didn’t really need anything to justify taking the drive and I hate the Delaware section of Rte 202.

Trust me I didn’t go with the intention of buying anything either lol it’s always fun just to go and watch the people scramble for the deals. Then again I did become one of those people lol
Press is way faster and easier to use. The tool is just awesome to have on the trail.

Steve, I know it’s a pain but do a test fit on the hood before paint. Drivers side back corner is off on mine. I wished I would have done it before and I could have tweaked it before paint. I just live with it now...

That’s going to look nice. There are a lot of things, that don’t look traditional on a Jeep, that I don’t like, but I really like those hoods!

Stopped at the dealer today to get the bezels for the hood. Qtech and many places had them for $58 a side. The dealer had them for $60 but luckily I have an old high school friend in parts. He was able to get me down to $42 a side which was a super nice of him. Also picked up two washer nozzles for the hood as well when I was there
Now to finish getting some quote for painting this thing!

Lol na sticking with factory red. A few places are saying they will just do it oem red and a few others I talked to are gonna compensate for fade. Just need to see who has the better deal and how much I care about it being slightly off on color

It would look good but I want to keep as much red as possible and just use black as an accent.
