Shark "Tank"

I would like to do this too. Not sure about cutting the tuffy security deck though. Post up when you do this please.

I can post up some good pics of where the tuffy deck hits in my thread when ever I get my jeep back. It doesnt take a lot of trimming, but some.

Looks good. Just curious, do the bolts extending that far into the wheel we'll bother you? They are not in the way of anything, just more an OCD thing. Had a chance to see install in person today.

All done. Here are a few more pictures. I still need to trim my deck a bit and reinstall it but that will have to wait.

I actually think they could shred a tire if you didn't cut the long ones down.

Right now, I'm fine with the look but I get what you are saying. It's a very easy fix though. When I ditch my inner fenders I will just reverse the bolts so the head is in the fender. With a little black paint you won't even notice (even with OCD). Having the nut on the inside of the vehicle won't matter because it's hidden under the carpet. Just cut the bolt tight to the nut.

Make sense?

Exactly, yup. I was thing the same thing about flipping the bolts. I was going message RH if there would be any reason why that wouldn't work. I don't see why not. The under carpet looks a ton better IMHO.
