My buddy’s friend was trying to clearance this old Corvair van crank case for a larger crank shaft and went a little too far.

I welded it up for him. Not much to look at, but I’m pretty happy with it. Old cast aluminum is pretty filthy to weld…just glad I could lay in some clean filler and save this classic part…

The owner of the house I am staying at tonight took me into the village to show me around and to socialize with his friends.

As some of you may know I don't drink beer. So I had to settle for these.

Looks like it’s out of Jurassic Park. I can imagine a dinosaur running out of the trees lol

I just hit up the museum the other day and there were dinosaurs there…

This looks like a tailgate I would expect to see anywhere in rural USA. I was a little surprised to see it in Bario , Sarawak, Malaysia. People are not that different on the other side of the planet.
