Pvanweelden's JKUR build

Today we did Pickle Gulch and the 2 harder portions of that trail. The 2nd was a .5 mile climb on loose rock that had me concerned whether we would make it. But we did :) 10,500 ft.

It's been interesting :) today was the first day we had someone else to wheel with- so we headed up to do t33a and middle st vrain. Every time we have gone anywhere it has been an hour drive away or more.
T33a was a blast! Awesome trail! 2 miles of shelf road up, then 2 miles of nothing but rock! shelf road is narrow, and had to back up a few times to let someone pass.

We started late and our yota buddy left after t33a, so we didn't get to MSV today.

Cool plain crash, for reference here is what a pristine T33a looks like minus the cough hard landing.

Awesome pictures and awesome build. I love the size and stance of your Jeep! It's inspiring to my build! I have a picture of your rig saved to my phone for future reference. Thanks for all the pictures and keep them coming, good sir! 👌

Hey Paul, I thought you might be interested in some of the wiring these guys did for a search and rescue project Jeep. I've never seen anything like it and figured it might spawn some ideas!

Thanks for that video Dave! watching it now...
Thardy- the footpegs and mirrors are Harley Davidson- I can't get enough Jeep waves, so I try to get bike waves :D
A buddy was switching his mirrors/pegs out for chrome and gave these to me a few years ago, I've used them on my XJ, TJ, and now JK. I also run the blindspot mirrors on the vents when I am too lazy to attach these after the doors come off.

They put a ton of man hours and work into that "rescue" jeep. The owner must have DEEP pockets or a ton of debt.

Very clean work and attention to detail.

^ I agree, they put a lot of work into that jeep. Guessing it wasn't cheap.

Yesterday, I replied to a friends post about needing help recovering a stuck vehicle. Texted Cody who went with, turned out to be a landowner who got his end loader buried when attempting to clear some trails for jeeps :) he was clearing a path down into an empty creek bed, but assumed the bottom was solid
We used chains and the bucket at first, then pulled Cody's tj down into the creek and used his winch along with the chains. Then had to winch both the tj and loader out of the creek wall. About 3 hours later it was recovered. Landowner was very happy because he uses the loader everyday on the rest of his property. He gave Cody and I a lifetime invite to wheel his land :) I don't have any good pics, some might show up later on fb.

Wow, what did they think they were going to do... power through that or something? LOL

That's like when people hit those yellow posts in a drive-thru or parking lot, and instead of stopping they hit it and power through ruining the entire side of the car :) My niece just did that... to both sides of the car... at the same place on the same day... lol
