Off grid camping trailer build

It looks awesome. I love the little Weber grill on the tongue! When I build mine I want to put a little smoker on it or have a place for my Weber WSM!

Thanks!!
When I started re thinking where I’m going to put the spare. I saw that it was about the right size.... it’s almost like it was made just for it!

I don't think I'd want the heat and smell that close to the tent. wonder what it would do to the rhino-lining
I need to learn how to weld, so much I could DIY with welding skills

This spot will be just for transporting. The bed liner definitely wouldn’t like the heat. But I will be able to put back even if it’s still warm, and get back on the trail.

never to late to learn!!

Got the rear bumper welded on and painted. Then installed some running lights in it.
the bumper definitely has some character!

Got the bumper lights hooked up and took it out for a little test ride.
I had forgotten that I didn’t put much air in the tires when I mounted them. Left the house with about 6psi in them. Stopped by a buddies house and aired them up to 20psi. It road much better after that! Also test fit the cargo net.

It looks great. Nice to see it road worthy so quick.
Thanks!!
I’m happy and a little bummed that the trailer itself is done (well I have a little painting to do). I’m working on the little extra things now. But I’m super excited that I get to take it camping soon!!

those lights are bright, will you have them on a motion sensor or a switch inside the RTT?
you'll be able to see the mosquitos that are attacking you 😄

I didn’t anticipate them being this bright! I may put a satellite light in the tent. Everything will be switched.

Cleaning up a box to be used as a battery/storage box. I like repurposing things. This box came off of Mare Island Naval base many years ago.
