Do trailers require mudflaps there? If the fender is the width of the tire it’s covered.I wonder if I can get away without mud flaps![]()
Some do, though the law doesn’t specifically say when. The way the law reads though. Trailers under 1500 lbs in loaded don’t require them. So I’m golden! This trailer probably won’t even be 1000 lbs loaded.Do trailers require mudflaps there? If the fender is the width of the tire it’s covered.
that's' coming along fast!Got the tent mounted on the rack, fenders mounted, taillights on and wheels back on. Started working on the spare tire holder also.
Two weeks till it hits the trail!that's' coming along fast!
We’ll see how they do for now. It’s never to late for mods. Not too late to do flushmount tail lights or a welded box over them, protect them from branches and backing into stuff. Bedline came out pretty clean what did you use? Raptor liner?
So close!!Almost there!
Where’s the maiden voyage taking you?
I was contemplating the trailer on the Rubicon but thought it may be a little much. Was thinking maiden voyage to the gold lake campground and then maybe slick rock or deer valley. Rubicon will usually only be me or me and my boy so no need for a trailer. So close!!
Going to do some easy dirt to see how it acts in Mendocino national forest.
The plan is to do a few trips in different terrain before pulling it into harder trails. Like the rubicon.
I have some buddies that will be up at gold lake in two weeks.I was contemplating the trailer on the Rubicon but thought it may be a little much. Give me a shout when you head up. Maybe we’ll roll in there as well.I have some buddies that will be up at gold lake in two weeks.
I probably don’t need it for the rubicon, but I’m going to try it out at least once. Maybe just go into elis creek with it.
There is a bunch I want to check out up in that area. I’ve been one the gold valley (or lake) trail and snake lake and deer valley. Had a 13 hour snow fiasco on poker flats. But there are so many trails in that area!!Give me a shout when you head up. Maybe we’ll roll in there as well.
Thank!!Looking good! Almost ready for the trip.
