Honestly, really glad OP found the issue. This has to be the culprit.
Damn. That's a a lot shit to go through. And yeah definitely don't think I would even let that 4wp even look at my jeep from across the road for fear they would break something.

That thing has been broken for a while! I know you're questioning whether or not that will fix your issue, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does. From the amount of rust, it's been cracked for quite some time, so in theory, it still could have caused your issue. Lifting it put more stress on the crack thus creating the issue. Not sire if that's right or not, but it sounds good in my head.

I would, but I can see that all the Unicorn semen and fairy dust was used up on your Jeep. :cheesy:
I think you drank up All that unicorn semen, I think that's your style

I wheel the crap out of my Jeeps. I'm known to break things that are supposed to be unbreakable. A very well known parts builder once sent me an extra lower control arm when I ordered a set of arms with a personal note saying, "Here's an extra lower control arm because we know you're gonna end up breaking one and need a replacement." I thought that was pretty cool. That was when I was wheeling TJ's though...
