KP's JKUR Build

I haven't even bought the Jeep yet, but now I know what my first mod will be. Hello, Volant. That sounds VERY nice! I will, of course, be PM'ing you to let you know when everything has arrived in case you wanted to lend some expert advice. I also predict I will have too way too much beer and/or pizza, and will need assistance disposing of it (after the installation, of course)!
The video really doesn't do it justice when you use the long pedal. The cabin fills with a symphony of throaty engine fury. It is quite fantastic. Hurry up and pick up your new rig, I'm always happy to lend a hand or offer some advice wrenchin' on a Jeep!

KP you have exhaust too or no? I've added that Volant to my wish list on Amazon haha
I don't have an exhaust kit, but I have been eyeballing one from AFE power for a few months.

Lol cool I thought you did for some reason but I too have been eyeballing exhausts. I'm thinking about the Dynomax Off Road whatever-majig (idr it's actual name...) its the one thats tucked up under the body by the frame rail and exits just in front of the rear axle.

Perhaps you mean the DynoMax Evolution Competition Exhaust System that (I think) Eddie has in RubiCAT? Here are some great assorted sound clips:

Looks pretty sweet !!

I don't always wheel , but when I do I keep it tight......... Stay dirty my friends.

Looks good. It's about time to see more WAYALIFE stickers on the east coast:thumb:

Thanks guys! I wanted to get that decal on there before Jeep week. I hope a few of us can roll together for the beach crawl.

Here's a close up for anyone that might be looking at the silver WAL sticker and wondering just how well it'll work with Billet Silver. Really freakin well imho!

I love all my stickers :) My WAYALIFE banner is crooked but fawk it, it's hard to notice if just glancing quickly at it lol lookin good KP!

Operation White-Out

So far, everything I've added onto my Jeep has some form of purpose beyond just being pretty. The bumpers are stronger and have winch mountings or a tire carrier, the wheels adjust spacing, the intake gives me a little more oomph! This mod... well, I just really like the look of it. Especially on a Billet Silver JK!

Onward to the next round of goodies. :D

Lol nice! I have an itch to do stuff to Lee-Roy butgotta pay for Honeymoon stuff soon (even though we're still a year away). My next purchase is probably gonna be that OR-Fab skid you turned me on to (nohomo?). That or fenders lol you ever think about tinting your tails since you've got a silver and black theme going now? Lol

Thanks! I have thought about blacking out the rear lights, but I probably won't do it. I'm good with the red tail lights. The black JK's with black tails, I think those look pretty good.

It feels so naked with out the big a$$ IPF floods on the front, but these rigids are 10x brighter at 1/3rd the power draw. You know what this front end really needs? A 3rd light! Luckily another RI SR-Q2 light is in shipping as I type. 3 x 3030 lumens should be enough... For now! :D

Hey KP, got a question for you. Are you going to do anything about your hood latches? My hood flops quite a bit when I drive by big trucks at highway speeds and I'm thinking about going with the Daystar replacements because, well, they're affordable. The Rugged Ridge crap looks cool but they're expensive as fawk. Figured I'd ask you if you were planning on doing anything or not.

Luckily, I'm not suffering from any hood flutter that I know of. Maybe my front air dam took are of that? I don't have any experience with the Daystar Hood Wranglers, but they look identical to the OEM product imho. If I were to swap out, I'd look at the Aluminum Hood Catch from Rugged Ridge in black or the Hood Locks from Rampage Products. I think the aluminum hood catch looks really freakin cool and the hood locks provide a little extra security.
