My wife has a desire to own a Yorkie, and I said when hell freezes over. So, since we still in a drought, I win.:D I wouldn't know whether to pet it or skin it for a hairpiece when I finally go bald, lol.

Got in the sleeve for the knuckle for the Synergy Flip kit in. This will be my plan B if I some how mess up the tapper on the knuckle.

So I got word today from the Dealership. Found out the passenger door lock actuator is broken. The second issue the previous owner bought this Jeep out of Sacramento and the dealership installed some alarm system or low jack system of some sort from what I understand from the previous owner. So a wire was connected incorrectly, which is now disconnected and fixed the random flashing of a open door while the engine is in auxiliary listening to the radio. They still have not figure out the engine issue and for a second time. Told the service rep that I'll keep bring it in for the same reason. Video tapping is in order.

Hope the first two are covered under warranty. :fingerscrossed:

Part 1: Flip Kit bracket installation

Today working with my youngest installing the Flip kit bracket installation. Over all the installation was an easy install except I had to grind away the lower gusset bracket in order for the flip kit bracket to form around the axle housing. I decided to use the mounting location for the sway bar link. The sway bar fit much better than the previous location. Once I saw the passenger side location fit better than I decided to follow with the drivers side. Again I found that I needed to grind away the lower gusset bracket corner. The Currie trac bar had no issues with hitting any objects. I actually lifted the trac bar until it hit the frame and still didn't hit anything else.

Tomorrow Conman (JD) is coming over to help me with the flipping of the drag link. Going to drill the knuckle out to .73 and I've got two calipers to make sure I've got this down.

While I was underneath the Jeep I decided to take some additional pictures of the sway bar flip I did. Just a different view than I've posted prior.

Part Two: Drag Link Installation

Want to give a huge shout out to Conman for coming over and helping me out with the Drag link installation. Taking off the drag link off the knuckle was super easy but coming to the pitman arm was frustrating. Ended up going over to O'reilys and picking up a wider fork. Once we used this the tie rod end came right off. Before drilling the knuckle I measured the knuckle which was .63. Started to drill the knuckle and a good minute into it, Conman (JD) says, "you should check the distance for just in case". I did not think we where that close. Took out the caliper again and right on the gnats ass it was .73......Thank you JD. Got that all put together and had to straighten up the steering wheel. Over all the installation went very good. :thumb:

Why did you go buy a tool when Conman knew I was home? I would've brought either of mine down to you

I rented the tool and got a full refund. Got to love rented tools that dont cost you anything but a little gas.

Damn. I would have seen if you could have come down for a little bit. :grayno:
