Found a fix for the holes in the back tale gate. Went over to OSH and found some 5/8 round flush mount plastic caps that fit.

Nice, been looking to do that myself.

Glad that I was able to assist. Sucks the hole is oval but squeezing the flush mount plastic cap wasnt to hard to fit in. I do plan on finding a rubber replacement once I come across something that will fit.

I practiced a few time trying to understand the best way to install these nutserts. The holes has to be perfectly snug against the nutsert in order for it to collapse properly. I tried a few with a little slack and it folded over into the hole. I also noticed the extra shavings in the back gave it more area to bite onto.

Get it lined up. Clamp it down. Drill the center (b-pillar) section first. Install the nutserts and bolt the center section down. Then move to the back and do those. Then move to the front. Yes it means taking them on and off several times but it's better than drilling all the holes and finding out the last 3 don't line up. Also watch the seams under the front doors and towards the rear. My holes on the skins were right on top and it made it a pain to drill and install the nutsert. Take your time. It's not that difficult, just time consuming. Besides it's just holes in your jeep. :)

Can these skins be installed with sliders inlace? I really do not want to remove them.

JK, where did you get the nutsert tool?

Yes. It would just be more of a pain. That is available on amazon for about $60 or so.

MTG has recommended this nutsert tool to several/many others and so far it has not disappointed anyone. Myself included. Grab one on Amazon. :yup:

Today I hooked up with Conman and install the Poison Spyder lower skins. Id have to say the instructions could have been much more clear for sure. For example it saying not to go through the second layer is imposible not to go through. The second it should have said to take off the front qauder panel in order to not have to drill through the second layer. All these thing that made it much harder should have been more clear. However the install came out great and getting them powder coated tomorrow. Computer is still down and should post shortly.

Huge thanks to Conman for his help. Next weekend is his rig!!
