Never thought to ask, don't you have power door locks? If so, should be OK running the same path as the rear doorlock harness unless that's the way you did it. You could've tied into the right side marker or ran a longer wire and came off of the previous harness. Doesn't matter which way, just a difference in how much wire you had to use, 3' VS 6'.

I actually didn't think to run it off the rear tail light. I would have needed a constant when I turn on the driving lamps and it would have taken a little bit of time. I was trying to get it done. Good thought Lee however this is just temp until I get the rear tire carrier. Over all I think it turned out real good. Chopping the rear tire carrier to use the light and going over to O'reilys picking up a trailer light for the license plate. All within the Cali legal code. :brows:

I however still need to get the rubber plugs to fill the two holes in the rear door!!! Havent figured out what I'm going to use.

I would hold off doing anything perm to the plugs until you get the carrier. Daystar makes an adjustable plug, you may want to use them to help with any gate rattles you could have. I haven't capped mine off yet for just that reason, mine rattles a lot, especially with full jerry cans.

I have lots of c clamps and a few padded wood clamps.

You don't need snow chains. Just air down those pretty new meats and you'll be fine. But investing in some recovery gear can't hurt, even if it's just a few D-rings and a snatch strap or two.

And he doesn't know it yet but that Hawaiian guy in Bakersfield is going on a run with us soon:D

I'm ready when you guys are;)

Schedule permitting, yes. Still going with 11/8?

I corrected the post to read the 8th. Glad to hear your going/ or possibly. I'm really looking for the snow run!!!! Looking into my next purchase.......weather mats, air bleeders, recovery kit and bumper. And I really hope that's it for a long time!!!! Until I think of something else..

As far as I know, yes. Subscribe to this thread and we'll keep you up to date.

Shhh, dont let my secret out,lol

Btw, thinking I'm going to get some UFO's. Between me and the carwash, my hood rubbers keep popping out and I have a couple holes to plug on the back as well. Just not sure if I want to pay $20 each for them.

I don't think I'm going to buy them since there expensive and it's not a major must. I have some plastic round plugs that I completely forgot about in my truck. I have had those in my truck for 7 years just chilling in my cup holder. I knew one day I would use them.. But yet my wife would say get rid of everything your not using. You know how many times I've used old crap that's been lying around for years....:asshat: Woman!!! :chatterbox:
