I'm not to that point by far but I am working more OT to keep this beast feeding for more. Can't stop until I get the 40's and 60's under the jeep!!! :evil snicker: Or I'll be living in my Jeep with the wife kicking me out!!! :drama: I think your on that path Lee :hot:

Close, but we actually agree on what gets done, only because her's is next very soon. She was actually online yesterday picking out her wheels and she hasnt even got anything to put them on yet. Sortof like buying a saddle before the horse.:D

That's the key to building a nice rig. Keep the wife interested in the sport.

Gusset's and Mini Skids installed

Today was a event full day for sure. Went over to BONDSY's house and he welded up the C-Gussets and Mini skids for me. It took a good 4.5 hours to complete from set up to wheels back on the Jeep. Learned a lot from what needed to take place and showed me how to weld a little bit. Got flat black spray paint and looks awesome.

After completing all the good stuff on the Jeep, we went over to his Jeep and noticed a few things that I still need to do. Sure enough he had some extra parts he was thinking of getting rid of. I picked up a Currie JK JOHNNY JOINT FRONT TRAC BAR. Have to center the axle tomorrow with this new part I picked up.

Thank you Tom for your time today. :drinks:

Jk johnny joint front trac bar

Took off the Rubicon Express Trac Bar and installed the Currie JK JOHNNY JOINT FRONT TRAC BAR. Looks so much better and the quality of the trac bar is superior to the Rubicon Express trac bar. The axle was not center prior by 1/2 to the passenger side. Installed the Currier Trac bar and centered the axle perfectly. Went over to a hill and flexed the Jeep and found the swaybar was hitting the round tubes on the side. Cut those down as well, along with free swaybar rotation.

Did you re-center your steering wheel ok?

Yeah I had to make 2.5 rotations and Kelley says it's not 100% centered after driving further than I did. Going to have to break out the wrenches tomorrow and fix that. The Currie set up that you let me get from you looks awesome.

BTW jk, you don't know it yet but you did yourself a big favor in the sparkplug department by getting rid or your inner fenders. Took pep boys 4 has to change mine and the guy kept whining about my hydro res being in the way. After my inners went away I can do my own in 1/2 hr.:D
