Hinrichs build

well nothing new really, ordered the d-ring mounts but wont have them till next tuesday so no progress on the bumper for this weekend. Did get it painted tho and looks decent. Still need to find a hitch to mount as well but need one like doesnt have nuts welded to it I think if I plan on running bolts through the bumper and the hitch.

also should really trim the pinch seams out back, but when testing flex nothing rubbed so just keep pushing it off like my c-guesset install.

Some random pics from this past weekend. Went out with my friend on a local axcess trail he goes to on sundays. A lot of people ride quads there so some of the trails would be too tight for jeeps, but it was still fun and had a decent hill climb.

you should have seen the mud flying off the tires once I hit the road, that was a funny sight. If it wouldnt have been raining it had a lot more mud on it actually.

Looking forward to see you at Rausch soon , there's plenty of mud to sling there to and lots of water to rinse it off. Although I think I'm slowly being converted into a rock crawler. there is something about trying to find the right way threw that is intriguing.

Tomorrow the evo d-ring mounts show up so hopefully if I have time I'll get them installed and finish up the bumper and hitch mount

Looking forward to seeing it and talking to you to see how you built it.

So need to make up my mind today, should I order just the oil pan skid....or do the full system? next after that will be rock sliders but may end up getting them at the same time if i only order the oil pan skid depending on the time either can ship...dont want to wait weeks for the skid to show up.

You should get this shirt!! Haha

I was just debating this myself.. I think I might piece it together slowly.. you don't save any money by buying it all at once..

call northridge...they advertise "package pricing" and im sure you can get a % off if you start the call with...im looking to buy oil pan and cross member skids then after a minute ask if you can get a deeper discount with making it a complete skid system AND sliders that you have been thinking about getting. Im sure they will work with you at least a little plus no tax and free shipping

they already have the package, just wansnt sure if I " needed" the whole system since eddie is always saying the stock skids are very good and he would recommend at least the oil skid...just want to spend my money more where its needed right now

Not sure how to attach the "bumper" since we can't get the one dring mount back out...but they are installed

Some times heating the frame up with a torch helps if you can get ahold of one.
