Hinrichs build

hook a cable or strap to it. hook cable or strap to something solid like a tree. take bolts out. "briskly" take up slack with throttle peddle. :D

may end up doing this when i get home from work actually, not like i really need the one out, but it would be nice to have that option

ordered the evo offset light mount and billet alum fairlead today, now just need to pick out a winch finally

Dangerous. Use your high lift jack and slowly winch it out of your frame ends instead. Go slow and use something inelastic like a tow strap or a chain! Don't want to get tagged with one of those. Mine were loose, like 1/8" - 1/4" clearance. So my frame ends bend inwards in the middle now due to the bolts! Haha

hmm even better idea prolly do that if i can find something else to attach the hilift with, lucky you myne both had to be ground down to match the frame ends...2nd one went better than the first

hmm ill have to try with more force....prolly gonna borrow a lugall winch thing from work to use instead of a towstrap...basically like a hand winch which should be good if the prybar doesnt work out

I like the tow strap to tree idea lol make sure you video it if you try it.. Sounds dangerously exciting!

ended up using a tow strap and the lug-all winch to keep tension on it and it came out fairly easy....now just need to get some bolts and figure out how to mount the bumper still. Ran out of time yesterday so only had time to get it out, ground down a little more then back in.

I used a cutting wheel. It went pretty well. Almost set my hair on fire though.. I put a pic up on my build thread.

started to fit the teraflex gussets last night....bottoms seem to be decent...tops dont seem like such a good fit....guess ill have to pull the springs to really see how its going to go....may end up ordering the evo ones like I probably should have in the first place....just running out of time now for next weekend
