F#@k your forum and f@#k you too

F my life!!!! Drove 40 miles to the tool store, spent $120 on a new die grinder and flapper wheels, come home and been grinding for hours and it's not working. So time for another 40 miles dive to get a angled die grinder and some expinsive carbide bits (another $140 and an hour of my time). I also had to get new axle seals and now have metal shavings all over this axle, so more work. So far out $500 dollars and 3 days of hard labor fixing northridge4x4.com mess up, and still lots of work to go! So unhappy right now.

I was following this thread yesterday, and I thought you were on the right track attempting to cut off the excess inside.
The problem with this plan was whoever told you to use a flapper disc to CUT off an extra 3/4" of length! You need to use any sort of abrasive CUTTING wheel. I have a small dremel that is good for these things. You will go through a ton of cutting wheels, but I bet you'd be done with the cut in 30-40 minutes.

Also- you are going to want to do whatever it takes to get all those metal shavings out. I have used brake cleaner in the past.

I'm not even going to read the other 200 posts. All I will say is maybe next time before you fire up the welder- check for clearance- no matter what you're welding.

Sounds like that truck of parts is more like $3500 now lol.

Evo long arm was and wheels alone where $4k buddy. Rear armor, side armor, skids, evo steering kit, ball joints, chromolly shafts, and more. I rhink they will owe me closer to $7000 actually.

So your going to return it (lose gas money)

Pay restocking fee

Buy the parts again from another vendor who will charge you more.

Just to try and stick it to Northridge

Brilliant!

I will pay 0 fees. It's agenst paypal tos for them to charge a fee. I already filed $3k worth of disputes, will file more later. They can get their paypal account blocked for trying that too.

Math wiz too are you. Let's follow along using your parts calculation. I'll even include pictures so you can check my work. Common core is tough shit:

$7000 -

Minus 30% restocking fee

= $2,100

$7000 - $2,100. = $4,900

Congrats on proving your point and making that drive in which you'll also be out the time and gas money. 👍👍👍

Should have just taken them the axle with the sleeve that was marked on the sales slip (the one that says Dana 30 on it) since they offered to fix YOUR install error.

Yup. Sure looks like ur proving the point of making us look bad. 😂😂
