As far as the vaccine... If the unvaccinated are more likely to get fucked by Kung Flu in regards to side effects, let them. Why do the vaccinated care so much? The vaccine has been pushed down our throats so heavily that everyone knows it's an option. So what's the big deal if someone doesn't want it? If you're vaccinated, you're supposedly safe. If you're not vaccinated, you're totally fucked. Ok, cool. So why do the vaccinated care so much to push their viewpoint on the unvaccinated? Seriously move the fuck on and let people make their own choices.

Why?...it's only the premiere medical University on the planet...
direct from their website:
"The website relies upon publicly available data from multiple sources that do not always agree...."
another issue I have with this "data", it's voluntary and the CDC tends to scrub data based on their own "findings: (opinions as valid as mine) as well as not all states report every case.
The truth is, the data is skewed from all sides but the narrative is very one-sided.
journalists, and I use the term very loosely, no longer question anything. They regurgitate and sensationalize everything because they think they'll keep their false power...

It also sells ad space...

First and foremost, I mostly care about my family and the ones I love...sorry Adam, you are not high on the list (but you are on the list)...

All of those facts are mostly true. I have chosen to get vaccinated mainly not because it will keep me from getting covid...there is a chance I may still contract it...I got vaccinated because I don't want to go to the hospital and have a tube shoved down my throat and hooked up to a ventilator. Am I 100% unlikely going to the hospital after contracting covid being vaccinated?...of course not...nothing is 100% (except the Raiders not making the playoffs). But I like my odds a lot more than being unvaccinated, since I'm closer to 80 than I am to 40.

Everyone should make their own choice...I firmly believe this. Just make your choice based on correct data, not just the data you choose to believe because it is what you would like the reality to be.

I take a daily med to prevent a gout episode, because my doctor recommends it. I take a yearly physical examination and blood work because my doctor recommends it. I got vaccinated because my doctor recommends it...
who is to say that everyone that gets covid gets a tube shoved down their throat and hooked up to a ventilator? plenty of people have not and I know several including family members older than myself that have gotten pretty shitty ill but did not get a tube shoved down their throat and hooked up to a ventilator. Had they died I would be sad but still would not change my mind knowing what doctors know today and seeing how they are being silenced because they are not following the narrative. Practicing doctors get my attention.

Everyone should make their own choice. Those that do should stop belittling those that chose not to. Those that chose not to are not some kind of murdering walking machine, it's simply not true. but apparently the narrative is that unvaccinated are death machines walking around killing others. To that I offer a big 1 finger salute 🖕

…it’s always statistically insignificant unless it’s you, your family, or your friends...
That is a valid point from an individual, micro risk/reward perspective. I’m talking about the broader, macro-public policy perspective. Through the latter prism, I have a very difficult time with the imposition of public policy across 100% of the population for the benefit of 1% of the population.

It is somewhat analogous to forcing businesses and schools to have a third bathroom for non binary or transgender individuals. How much should the majority have to alter their lives to the benefit of the minority?

I appreciate the attempt at reasoned discourse back and forth. But, honestly, if you truly believe that covid is just some political scam or that people (particularly those over 70) are not dying at a rate (from covid) exponentially higher than they would have been in the absence of covid…I’m sorry, but you are ignorant and don’t know how to read and interpret 20 months worth of data from within the United States.

My brother by blood, and my brother by marriage, are both treating physicians in ER’s dealing with covid patients on a daily basis. I have a keen sense of both the realities “on the ground” and the broader public policy discussion. Interestingly, my two brothers have different perspectives on what they think should be the public policy response. I respect both of their opinions.

Now, what we should do about the situation, through public policy mandates, is absolutely fair game for discussion.

I don’t think anyone should be forced to take the vaccine. Can I envision a virus in which I think people should be forced to take a vaccine? Unequivocally, yes. But this is NOT it.

I get that our nation has, unfortunately, become so tribalized that people seriously believe things like the vaccine is really just BG implanting a chip into people for later control. I also get that an alarmingly large percentage of the population thinks the world is flat, we never landed on the moon, and chocolate milk comes from brown cows.

If you choose not to take the vaccine because you do not think it provides you a statistically greater chance of survival, I support that decision 100%. (Keep in mind, I am the only one of my wife and kids that has been vaccinated). If, however, you choose not to get vaccinated because you think it is some grand conspiracy, the vaccine will give someone control over you, or some other foil hat reason, then this is what I have to say: more power to you, I just ask that you contractually promise, in writing, that you won’t go to the ER if you catch covid and get sick.

I feel the same way about helmet/seatbelt laws. I don’t think they should exist; but I do think you should sign a waiver of care.

I’m very curious to read responses to my last two sentences above as I think they are the most relevant to the bigger discussion/concept. If you are against taking the covid vaccine; do you think you should be entitled to receive medical care if you get covid? If so, explain to me why.

So if I get cancer from smoking or liver disease from drinking I don’t get care because I knew they were bad for me ?

I don't think care or lack of care should have anything to do with the vaccinated or unvaccinated. The vaccine has only been around for a short time. If one is hesitant of taking it for that reason, they should still be able to get medical care if they get covid, in my opinion.

Or someone who skydives, scuba dives, rock climbs, or drives their Jeep on dangerous mountain shelf roads, or a host of other "dangerous" human activities? No health care? Because someone in authority decides it was a poor choice?
Damn lawyers...

I think is the grounding factor, and yes, I do believe every American is entitled to care. In truth, I’m sure it has to be 100 times over the number Covid deaths for people who make a Horrible life decisions, smoke, drink eat like shit their whole lives, pump them selves full of the latest drug and then wonder why their dead at the age of 65 and clog up our health care system as they go out. That by far is a greater drain on our medical system, yet there no push to make the population healthier because there is too much money to be made off of them for all those reasons listed above that made them unhealthy to begin with. But we still care for them for them for what I believe are poor life choices. But it’s choices they made, just like it’s a choice I made to not get vaccinated and everyone deserves care.

Not an anti-vaxxer by any means. After all, I have several already. I am not sold on THIS vaccine. When the man that invented the technology goes on record and says that this vaccine is doing things that were not intended, then there may be a problem. Further, the effectiveness of it has to be questioned with stories regarding the vaccinated now getting infected, hospitalized, and spreading the variants.

You made a very good point regarding THIS virus. I also could envision a mandatory vaccine faced with an illness so severe that it would also
be utter lunacy for anyone to not get it. Like you said, this isn't it.

If the background of this damn virus isn't the makings of a great conspiracy story then I don't know what else would. The way this has been handled and politicized from the get-go is borderline criminal. We have the idiotic MSM just blindly shilling whatever side they're aligned with without regard and care to actually dig out the truth and report on that instead. There are actual real scientists and doctors out there that do question and report that offer a far different version than what we are trying to be spoonfed. Lab leak theory being exhibit #1.

Should I receive healthcare if I come down with Covid? Absolutely. I've paid into the system for years so yes, I believe I've earned the right to it.

I am not a genius...nor do I wear a tin foil hat.. but I can read.. and I do question a lot of shit. Clearly your faith in BG's intentions surpasses mine and that's cool... we all have the right to be skeptical or not. But when I dig into the series of events that have takin place, my red flag goes way up. 20 years ago, did you think we would be carrying smart phones that automatically update a disease tracker into them?.. or that Vaccine Passports would be a thing? It seems clear to me that Little by Little... over time these nuances of control are taking effect. And if we don't seriously question the fruition of these steps... we may lose our Freedom.

You brought up chips, so I'll start there and add a few of my concerns:

-Chips are a thing... and they are happening.

-Gates has a patent on “cryptocurrency system using body activity data.”... now the patent doesn't say anything about chips... but we know damn well they will be intertwined.

-Here are the Patents on elements of the Covid Vaccine... take note of the dates in the patents... 2019? they've been working on this shit for a while... Funny how Fauci & Gates are on record predicting this pandemic. Look it up.

-Both Fauci & Gates have been working on, and funding Vaccine research... and are of the biggest players pushing the drug. "The World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have announced a collaboration to increase coordination across the international vaccine community and create a Global Vaccine Action Plan." Look who is on the list of Leadership Council at the NIAID... Fauci.

You ask if we should be allowed medical care after refusing the Vaccine... I say HELL FUCKIN YES. How was this Vaccine pushed through trials so Damn Fast?? Because it was declared an "Emergency" that's why. To be an "Emergency" there can't be any other drug or set of treatments to rectify the disease.... Do you remember how BG & the Media squashed already FDA approved medicines that have been around for decades and proven safe... and squashed the Doctors that swore they worked... I sure remember. Our right to refuse Experimental Drugs, does not take a back seat to Our right to Health care.

Don't think it's some grand conspiracy nor do I wear a foil hat unless I'm really drunk and it'll get me laid.
Certain illness' will always affect the elderly and unhealthy more than not. The flu I shook off 40 years ago has every chance of putting me in the hospital now that I'm older.

Have you asked your wife and kids to sign a waiver of care and will you allow them to go the ER if they catch covid?

Am I entitled to healthcare? hell yes
