Look up the Jeep Badge of Honor program. I don't know the full details or I'd explain it.

Just found out. Download the app and make a profile. When your at the beginning of the badge of honor trail just go into the app and check in on the trail it is for. Takes about 12 weeks to get them.

First preparation project complete! New parking brake "clutch!" I've been meaning to do this for a few years.


After removing the old one that has stripped gears. Looks alright in there after a little vacuuming.


New "clutch" mechanism installed! This is before removing the retainer clip.

It nice to have a working parking brake again after adjusting it at least 5 times over the past six years.

I'm looking forward to the trails!

It was a lot easier than I thought it was gonna be.

I felt the exact same way...it was a bit harder with my extra wiring mods that are routed through the center console, but this was truly an easy fix.


I still have the exhaust (headers back) to replace before this trip that will be a difficult task...
