12' Gecko Build

So I still have all my old axle parts laying around in the garage anyone know what the stock shafts might be worth out of the front D30 and sport rear D44? All my spline counts are different now so they are no use to me but would be good trail spares for someone else. Is like $200 too much to ask for the set of 4?

Finally got the front diff oil changed after the break in, all the gears look good. But damn the liberal amount of red rtv stuff dynatrac uses was a major PIA to clean off

So I pulled the rear diff and found this.... I mean I guess the air locker line is out of the way BUT I'm pretty sure that's not quite how it's supposed to be installed... what ever the rear locker works and all the gear teeth look good.

Do you see any signs of it hitting? I'm not familiar with those, but it seems close for my comfort.

Nah nothing on the Cooper line that shows it hitting anything, just not the way I have seen it run usually, I don't want to risk moving it and making a hole in the line so I guess I'll leave it. Just kinda odd they would run it that way instead of over the top

Always seen it run up over the top too. It’s always seemed funny to me they don’t engineer it backwards so the copper comes off the right side and straight up and out the hole. But I also know nothing about lockers

yeah idk i have always seen it run over top too, but like i said there are no marks on the line like its hitting anything and with the dynatrac diff cover it has space on the cover too so im not overly worried BUT if my rear locker decides to not work thats probably going to be one of the first places i look
 
i also have a suspicion that the shop got a bit reluctant to bend the line too much after they already had a copper line that got a hole in it during the install that made me rent a car to drive the 5 hours home and pick it up 2 weeks later. So id be willing to bet once they got the new part in they didnt want to bend the line all the way up to the top and risk that happening again. Even though i saved like $1500 by getting the trail leader instead of just going with the 44/60 part of me would have had a bit more peace of mind by having the rear 60 built by dynatrac. but oh well the lockers work and i am set up pretty damn well for phase 3 when i move to 37s.

Is the trail leader the stock rear housing with Dynatrac parts?

Phase 2 is pretty much done. I still have the tire carrier and rock stars to instal but it's fully wheelable without those for now. I gotta re vamp my jeep savings before I can start on phase 3 though haha

Got the carrier all installed. Pretty simple and straight forward and beefy as hell! Now I just need to figure out what to use to plug the 3rd brake light hole and old tire bumper hole
