Wines of the Week

Thank you Ed. It was great meeting and chatting with you.
If you ever need a buddy to suit up and ride boogie boards down a steelhead river with, give me a holler.

It was actually this thread and your posts that got my gears turning and spiked my curiosity. I knew we were going to stop in Paso for gas and stretch so it only made sense to check this place out. And glad we did. [emoji106]
It was a beautiful vineyard with a great tasting room. They close at 4 and we didn’t leave till after 5 going through a couple flights. Ended up bringing home 4 bottles.

Just got an email that the hope Cab received 97 pts from wine enthusiasts. I have one bottle left and just ordered two more before they sell out.

In case you haven't had it yet, you can see if your palate agrees with WE. [emoji485][emoji485]

Krug Haut Brion Margaux.jpg

We had some special dinner guests that used to live in France, so we had something special from our collection...'95 Chateau Haut-Brion & a '96 Chateau Margaux (one of my favorite Bordeaux's)...and the Krug bubbly was no slouch either...
