Went on a hunt for eggs and finally found a store with 3 one dozen packages still on the shelf. Check out how much they were

Yesterday I picked up 18 eggs for $5.59 from the commissary on fort Irwin. The wife was complaining she couldn’t get any in the stores

At that price I would be going without for a while. Hell I paid around $8 for an eighteen pack and didn’t really want to do that but I was on the hook for a couple custard pies for a Christmas party.

I didn’t know that much beef is needed to make custard pie
