What Happened to all the Eggs??

We used to give our clients eggs whenever they were in town since we couldn’t eat all of our eggs. I miss having chickens 😔 it was so nice not having to worry about spending a fortune on quality eggs… at our peak we had 40 chickens

Yeah I miss it but at the same time I don’t. The temps last week in the single digits reminded me of all those days I’d have to get them water because even the heated waterers had froze up. Plus the predators and trying to keep them safe.

Luckily we never dealt with frozen waterers and predators that attacked. We had plenty of free loaders and a skunk that lived under the coop lol IMG_1266.jpeg
 
I hardly keep up with the news anymore but I did see on local news in North Dakota that they are going to start limiting the number of cartons that people buy here
