well shit, just checked my local store, no eggs, was told the shortage is caused by bird flu and if you can find them, prices are high.
WTF

I remember seeing something about this in the news recently.

Had the pleasure of being at Costco, Walmart. and 2 local grocery chain stores in Eastern Ohio & Western PA yesterday- no shortage of eggs anywhere. Must be a western thing?

Costco had an egg recall. Probably involved a few grocery chains as well.

I just looked up an 18 pack on Walmart App and this is the price in Bakersfield. I bought mine in Delano for roughly a dollar cheaper yesterday. I just hope this isn’t going to be like the toilet paper crap in 2020.

At that price I would be going without for a while. Hell I paid around $8 for an eighteen pack and didn’t really want to do that but I was on the hook for a couple custard pies for a Christmas party.
