I haven’t run the Coils, but the 2.5s have been great off-road. I put on the adjustables and it’s been great to tune them down for the trail and back up on the road. The best thing is, here in Michigan our roads go to shit in the winter and I knocked them down to 0 and it’s smooth sailing!I have yet to take the jeep offroad with the 2.5 shocks, but I do have to say I miss the look of the coilovers more than anything.
As far a being overkill on the east coast. Is it worth spending the 4K upfront or just go with a more cost effective option? I just want to do this right and plan for 37s or 40s if the future goes that direction.

Lol thanks but no I’m gonna stick with the coilovers. I don’t wanna switch it up now that I have them but in reality I really should have done the enforcer when I got them since I drive on the street more than anything. The coilovers will be more beneficial for trips out west and for if and when I move out west
You can be semi overkill and still be semi cost effective by doing the enforcer with king 2.5’s right from the get go. That will be great for 37’s and maybe even 40’s. 40’s tho are super overkill out here even as well
So if you had to do it again with little worries about initial cost that would be the route? I honestly done ever expect to move past 35’s but you never know.

Yea if I had to do it again I would have gone with an enforcer and king 2.5’s.
Just to throw in my unsolicited :twocents:, If I could start over from scratch, I'd do the Double D Long Arm kit from the get go. The benefits of the LA kit's on road stability are hands down worth the cost. I'm still amazed how well my Jeep handles. Face it, us East Coasters spend the vast majority of our time on-road. Why not optimize that handling as well? :idontknow:

Yeah! but I’m not going to install it myself. I’m going to have it burned on and that’s above my pay grade.

I didn’t order any special tools. From what I have seen I have all of what is needed already.
How is the coilover refresh coming along?
