What's involved in changing those seals?

From the videos I have watched I need to drain the nitrogen, break down the coilovers and get the old oil out, change said seals, refill with oil, then recharge with nitrogen. Basically what evo or the like would do for a normal service interval.

I was able to find a local dirt bike shop that will recharge the shocks for $15 a shock which I thought is a great deal. Couple that price with the oil and seals from king and I’m saving a ton of money if I do it right. Just gonna take my time with doing them and do one at a time to make sure I do it right.

Exactly! Any chance of your developing a write up on the rebuild? I know it would be a popular one as King just told me at least 3 weeks for them to do the rebuild!

Yup I plan on taking some pics to document what I get from King as well as how the rebuild goes.

I have about 25k miles on them. They call for a service at about 15k I believe. The front driver actually feels like it might have lost some nitrogen cause it feels as tho it sags to that side.

No real update. Still waiting in my stuff from king to show up.

In other news I did get that amazon deal someone post up about for the tire repair kit. Took a pic of it but never posted. Seems like a good kit with all the extra stuff in it.


Also got the synergy tie rod end metal boots/misalignment spacers. Going to get them on here soon so I can do the hydro at some point if I ever finish buying what I need lol

You should consider buying a nitrogen charge kit. They are really handy to have around. I used a welding supply shop for the tank and regulator then pieced together a -4an kit from Summit and Amazon. It was about half the cost of a pre-built kit.

It's 28 usually but goes on sale for 24 every once in a while
