They actually don't come with the metal cup anymore. I think some where having issues with them seating properly with the metal cup installed.

Well no update from synergy yet.
In other news I just spent the last two hours restoring my fenders with mothers back to black. Used a two step process. Started with the heavy duty cleaner and then the protector. Did two applications of each since my fenders were so bad. They look brand new again!
Here's a pic just to show how bad they were compared to sheaffadelics

First round of trim cleaner and you can already see a difference

Your fenders look great and that is the same stuff I use. I'd say that I have to reapply about every two months to my rear driver fender that is off of an 07.

That's all I use on my fenders and plastic too. Works amazing just apply a few times and they look brand new. But make sure to wipe of the residue left on the body of the jeep.

Doesn't a heat gun make flares turn black or is that just tj flares? I've never tried it

They do BUT after I did mine with a heat gun last year they only lasted for about 4 months before they looked faded again
