Most people think the ‘Deep State’ or ‘Perma-Party’ is simply an agency or party. It is actually a bunch of individuals, mostly bureaucrats that are entrenched throughout the Fed-Gov but largely in the Executive Branch. Also there are many who do not actually work for the Fed-Gov but are in the periphery- NGO’s, ‘Think Tanks’, advisers, and others. Most are democrats but not all, there are republicans and independents also.

This^^^^ The deep state is every feral employee in DC and around the world getting a paycheck from big brother. As a former resident of the DC suburbs I can tell you they do not think like normal people and their employer is literally their god. But this also includes the millions of hangers on that are making millions off taxpayer money. Think contractors think lobbiyists think the small town mayors and town councils who receive millions of dollars to install handicap accessible fishing platforms along the creek that runs through town all from the feral government. They will say they are against big government then accept millions of dollars from big government.
