I haven’t heard of anything to this area. Hell my county was left off the aid ticket the first go round and you saw the pictures I posted.

We still have water and are some of the last ones in the county with it. Others have been out three days already. No help from them on pumps or anything. Everything has been grassroots. Fuck that administration.

We cannot rely on fed gov for anything but state and locals are the best bet. Trying to find local info about what folks can do to help. If anyone is going to donate I’d suggest doing due diligence as scams always pop up after disasters. I’m not vouching for this but seems legit.

A lot of local churches and sherriffs departments in surrounding areas are accepting a lot of items. Money is fine too, but many people need supplies and items immediately.

The other thing is the freeloaders around. Places are giving out water for those that need it. Anyone in the county can go get it. But we had the means to go to the neighboring town and buy it but there are others who take just because it’s free. Kind of sad really.
