SMORR June 13th-14th

if you guys wouldn't mind a little more company next time you go out there myself and a couple of my buddies might tag along. I'm still trying to get out there for the first time. do you guys make it a one day trip or a weekend thing?

Depends on how far away you live and how much time you have off from work. Tent camping all over the place, hotels close, or if you live close you could make it a day trip.

Some of the guys in our group wheeled Friday and Saturday, some just Saturday.
 
im just south of kc, so it would probably be a weekend for me, grt to have more fun that way. do you have any kind of date set for the next trip?

No, but definitely sometime in October/early November. My wife and I stayed in a hotel last weekend, but in October we may tent camp.

Yeah, we're babies and don't like tent camping when it's 90+ degrees and humid. There will probably be a new thread started sometime in August/September, keep an eye out

There is a event in September and I think some of us are going to go then and wheel and enjoy the event and if you give me a couple weeks notice I would be willing to go some time soon.

Which weekend is the event? Is it another charity event or a competition?

Gotcha, wish we lived closer, but September is gonna be a busy month for us. We're still hoping to make it down some time in October. Would you be willing to drive up to the St. Louis area if we decide to go to Washita?

Well I'm sure for Greg and josh and all you guys that would be easier. And I don't mind trying out different parks and trails. I'm planning to go to little Sahara in July for my birthday but October is far enough away for me to make it up there to.

Yeah, I'd definitely love to make time for that. We'll be back out at SMORR for Midwest Jeep Thing's JeepFest in September if you guys want to join that. My wife promised to come - I hope she doesn't bail on me. Josh said he's coming and his wife is going to join as well.

I'll talk to Nicole and see if she wants to go to Smorr in September for Jeepfest. Honestly, October might be tough for us as far as wheeling trips go. Our anniversary and our son turns 1 on the 23rd. So it'll be a busy month for sure. What weekend in September is Jeepfest?

I -think- I can make September. Definitely not October. The Army has changed my plans (again) and so I will report to a new assignment in October out on the east coast... looks like I'll be visiting Uwharrie mostly again.

My anniversary is in October as well and I'll look it up now I post it on here.
