Sin City to The Capital

Had a ton of fun today with our good friends Clay, Tracie and Doug and started it off out on the trail and looking for aborglyphs up in the mountains.

For those of you who don't know, they're carvings in the bark of aspens and made by Basque sheep herders from over 100 years ago.

In addition to signatures and symbols, many depict naked women and of course, phallic symbols.

After our romp through the forest, we headed to the top of Genoa Peak to take in the majestic views of Lake Tahoe. Here are a few poser shots of our Jeeps :)

After our gratuitous Jeep shots, we climbed to the top of the peak for a better view and to take a group shot of us there.

And and because no trip like this would be complete without it - we ended our trip at the historic Genoa Bar - CHEERS

Very cool, that must have been some very lonely and bored sheep herders,; except for the guy that carved the phallic symbol, I bet his sheep were nervous as hell.
