Cool If I bring a few walkies for those who don't have a cb? And not to take thread off track but is there a good way to mount a CB and antenna without permanent modifications to the Jeep? Ha

I second that.
I think it is one the most important piece of equipment to have for trail riding (safety wise) and also incredible tool for chit chatting along the way.:thumb:
<img src="http://wayalife.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=46587"/>you could try this its under my driver seat. <img src="http://wayalife.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=46588"/>on a bracket that was already there.

No prob. I don't plan on getting water in my jeep, you can hear it fine, and I used wire ties to fasten the the cb bracket to the wire harness bracket. when you get it tuned there isn't really any reason to have to adjust it. I just set the mic on the e-brake and good to go.That's pretty cool, haven't seen it there before and no drilling. May have to do this. Thanks Tom

EDIT the only thing I had to do was pull the glove box and side panel to fish the power.
Actually found a bracket to have it sit on the passenger side of the center console. No drilling. Probably gona get that. What's anyone's opinions on the Uniden pro compact CB? Sorry to have thread out on a tangent
It's a proven cheapie that'll give you what you need in a CB. No more, no less. I ran the midland equivalent and was happy with it.

Ok cool. I don't need anything crazy right now. Looks like I'll have a CB for the trip!
You take your doors off rocko so you may not want to mount it under the seat in case you get some water.
The uniden has worked well for me for the past year and as far has mounting the mic, check out a product called gear keeper on amazon, it's what I use and i love it.
But in all seriousness a cb is one of the most inportsnt trail tools you could have because 9 times out of 10 the conversation being had is making fun of the guys who don't have them :bleh:
