I really should consider getting some skids sometime.

I really like the EVO one's I've installed the oil pan and manual transmission pieces and couldn't be happier. The transmission took 15 minutes at most. I looked the ones Scott and KP have and they're different but just as effective. Living of Lake Ontario, with all the lake effect snow, I like the smaller plates of the EVO's. They look easier to clean off:twocents:

I really like the coverage provided by my new skid system and the lack of drilling needed for all these pieces. They are solid and also pretty reasonably priced.

I'm sure the Evo product is good too, just two different ways to skin the same cat.

Good morning to you Ed.
I'd like the EVO ALSO but I keep hearing that things didn't line up . But in all fairness I don't know if they all bent the same parts so it didn't fit. I'm just kinda sensitive when buy something and it don't fit right . lol I actually get relly pissed of for some reason.

I'm getting the EVO eventually. Now I just can't decide to go skid/sliders or lift/tires first. Practicality vs bad assery

Sent from my phone while I should probably be getting work done

I think we heard about fitment issues from the same Jim. :D No problems at all with the fit of the Rockhard 4x4 products. Simple, yet strong. Happy to show them to you at the end of the month if you'd like.

I wouldn't base my opinion on just one person I've heard having problems. Yes that was one of them but ive heard it 5 times , or read. I'll have to check yours out next trip. Im sure it must be a glitch in there machine but you would think it would get fixed or maybe they haven't heard the complaints but if they have heard the complaints and haven't fixed it shame on them.

I wonder if I'll need a longer bolt once I install these for the control arm since I'm using a relocation bracket for my trackbar

You will, I took my bracket off since I have an adjustable rear bar, but just like you said there's not enough threads. Longer bolt needed :)
