I'm not sure, I cycle the suspension few times and it seemed okay, I have to drive it a little bit

I had to mount the shocks to the lower mounts first by dropping the axle all the way down and then raise it up to meet the upper mounts
If I would have tighten the upper bolts first, the lower mounts wouldn't line up unless you force the shock mount sideways
That doesn't seem right. Do you think the brackets could be heated, bent into the correct position, then cooled?
Update: Week 2 and still shutdown sl I'm out for Rausch this month. Hope you guys have a good time.

Let me know what they say. I have a friend that does metal work and I'm going to show him the pictures and see what he thinks. He may end up just building them himselfThey could, with a round bar through both holes, drove the jeep to work this morning and it seems fine, I might call evo today and see what they say.

I wasn't thinking about the bracket failing, but now that you bring it up. I was thinking the shock bushings wearing out, upper and lower. The bracket puts stress on the bushing just sitting there. I've always thought the bushings need to be perpendicular to the mount to keep the shape of the bushing. I'm sure EVO will address it, especially to the members of the forum:yup:x2 curious on this as well. doesnt seem like a problem evo would have since they dont usually design things to be that far off and such a harsh angle. I would be worried about the mounts failing faster than normal.

I have a new bracket sitting in my tool box to replace the upper mount. It gets rid of the fingers in the upper shock, so the bolt goes through the bushing. I should put them on soonYeah i meant the stock bushing, especially at the top.
Sad to hear that my friend, I hope this thing gets resolved quickly so we can see you back on the trail
I thought they just voted to start your pay back up. Or is it to give you back pay eventually once you get back to work?
Tom now Free
Don't quote me, but I thought feds are supposed to get back pay and per WaPo, 90% of defense civilians are supposed to return to work as well. Soooo... Plenty of pay check for Raush Creek!
