Good morning Ed. CB parts due to arrive today. How difficult to install? I noticed the antenna bracket has two holes to mount too the carrier but what are the other two holes? One for the antenna and cable but what about the other?

Mike,
KP did a great CB installation on his build thread. Even if you are not installing the same model, there are some things that will still be the same (like running power). I did mine after reading the installation (and in his garage) without any issues.
I don,t know how your bump stops are, but mine are very flimsy. They are not solid rubber like they were on my YJ and TJ. And I read a post on the forum that said to torque them to 35ft-lbs. I'm worried about breaking the studs. As far as the tire carrier goes, the Poison Spyder carrier I am getting, is $1479. That's before I get it painted or powder coated, not including the $100+ in add ons to go with it.
I've got the day star bumps which are a little more solid than the oem bumps.
I have heard about the poison spyder one but never really looked into it. Thats pricey but their stuff seems to be nice so thats cool
I'm trying to find it without any luck. If you can find it would you mind forwarding it to me? Thanks.
For camping this stuff gets left at echo valley when we are wheeling
Tarp
Tent
2 folding chairs
Small duffel bag for dogs food and clothes for us
Air matress
2 sleeping bags
We each bring a pillow
Towels for the dogs (rain sucks and wet dogs smell, they also lay on them)
For wheeling i bring
Cooler (has all my food and beer)
Backpack (has dry food like rolls, gisnt marshmellows ect)
Tools (wrenches sockets ratchets and a few other things)
Recovery bag this holds all of my wheeling gear when i am not wheeling so in it is my cb, my trunk strap, tow strap, hitch d ring mount, tire deflators, spare pins for my sway links, a tire gauge, and I keep some trash bags and zip tires in there because you just never know.. I also put my sway links in my bag in a open compartment when I take them off.
Ratchet straps and bungies
Tire plug kit
Md flag that i hang from my cb antenna (raining last trip and forgot it the time before that)
And a double bagged roll of TP for trail emergencies :thumb:
Thats about all I can think of but I'm pretty sure I bring other stuff too.
Alright... so I need a flag. for my antenna and some tools to bring with.
I haven't gotten the ARB Snatch yet, but I will.
And beer in a cooler. I'll just bring this gear in an ALICE pack and call it a day. Any recommendations on tool sizes common for trail use?
I do not have a tent. So I think I will be camping in mah Jeep when I get sleepy. I have a JKU so it'll be like a friggin HOTEL room compared to having slept in the JKRHD.
My lady ain't coming on account of the baby so maybe next time. I'm sure she'd be stoked to know other Jeeper wives are in the mix too! Might make her inclined to tag along!

No need for a flag at RC. I was just saying that's what the other hole might be fore in some CB antenna mounts
No need for a flag there but it's always fun to rock some boobies on ur antenna. Especially during October!
