I have an M&P shield 9 also. I chose the shield over the 9c because it is slimmer lighter and even though at 6'5 and 300lbs I can conceal a full size I just prefer the smaller lighter gin for the EDC choice. It just makes working in public easier and since I do IWB carry o don't have to keep yanking up my pants
