Well, we have threads here for superchargers, turbochargers, and engine swaps. I think this may be a first. Easier than re-gearing.
Bit under 800. Bottles marked 2006 build date, needs testing and certs every 5 years. Was also thinking it would be a cool on board air tank little big for that though 10lb bottle, ignore my trash bags of gravel doing some winter prep. View attachment 356648

Nah not that bad of a job at all, I’m taking my time and working on it when I feel like it but it’s a weekend job at mo, easy engine to work on and super cheap to rebuild. I knew I’d be diving into it when I bought it, and the damage on this one really isn’t that bad.Well, I guess it could have been worse
Did you send the head out or do it yourself?Prepped everything. Got the new pistons on the rods. Piston rings installed. Lapped all the valves, installed new seals, rebuilt the head. Honed the block and prepped gasket surfaces. Just have to reassemble.
