PIGINJK8 build

It's the same rail, no holes but nothing a drill can't fix. More than likely I'll bolt it to the top as well. I'll be using best top uppers as they are a lot cheaper. The other issue is the gap between the front door and the rear upper since the B pillar was removed.

However I'm going to buy replacement pillars and cut and fit to sit on top the bed side I'll just mount them to the factory cage like a door surround.

In theory I think it'll work just fine.

Don't see why not but sharkey does have a good idea, 1/4" or 3/8" lexan or plexi would work and aid in visibility. And if you didn't want it to stick out you could paint a pattern around the outside to mimic half door uppers. And add a rubber gasket to help with waterproofing or something

We have a husky that wheels with us. So the fronts will have to be half uppers so we can get her some air. The rear windows being hinged is hinged is definitely something I like.

I'll be damn near overlander status ..

If the damn dog only behaved as well as your kids, we would be in business.. Lol

I've been thinking about this long before I bought it. Originally I was planning on building this with it.

You can have sliders made, it's just $$$$$$

It always come down to $$$.

I'll need to share what my kids told Amy about you and Adam. We cracked up. I'm blessed to have good kids though. They love Wayalife!!

Oh boy. I'm sorry for ruining your kids.

I have said in the past people should not bring kids around me. (For more than one reason  )

Lol. Are you kidding. Amy and I were cracking up. I'd rather them be around real people and hanging with mom and dad and friends than in front of the tv playing vid games.

Is the guy who makes the crazy home made hard top that has tons of different configurations still on here? I would see what kind of ideas he would have for this, and he can probably get you on the right track very easily for the windows.

I have talked with him and he gave me some good insight on the project. It'll all comes down to how much money and time I want to spend.

Finally started working on the top. First I need to repair the damage

If you are using a spray gun to refinish they have a texture additive you can add to the paint to come close to original look. OR even a spray bomb would work as well. Looks good so far.

I'm just going to buy the mopar hardtop touch up paint. It should be close enough. I'll toss some dirt on it for texture

Time to fill

Little more work and it should be done, this is my first time doing fiberglass work, or body work for that matter.
